A Hypnotist's Blog

Welcome to my journey into becoming a hypnotherapist and learning all about this amazing healing modality. I begin classes this month and look forward to becoming a certified hypnotherapist by next spring. I've very excited about it! This blog will entail my many experiences as I journey, study and practice to become a professional clinical hypnotherapist.

I was first introduced to hypnotism at the ripe age of 18, when I was seeking something to relieve my stress and help to focus on improving my swimming ability as I had just moved to southern California and joined a community college swim team. I utilized guided self hypnosis tapes to assist my practices and greatly aided in increasing my skill level. Our 400 free relay team took sixth place in the State of California that year. Ever since, I've been intrigued by the incredible power of hypnosis and how it can help people focus on both achieving what they want and bringing about psychological and emotional growth. After many years of teaching in Asia after going back to grad school I felt a pull this time toward revisiting hypnosis and hypnotherapy in a professional manner to become a clinical hypnotherapist.

Therefore, I've recently started a metaphysical website chock full of helpful and interesting articles for you to explore. I'm continually developing it and watching it take shape and expand. Feel free to visit it here:

I'm also a member of hypnothoughts.com. Please visit my page and add me as a friend if you are a like minded soul also taking this wondrous voyage.
